New Orbit Ownership Site Launched At Liberty

We are pleased to announce the launch of The Liberty Shopping Centre, Romford, as the latest addition to our expanding Orbit Ownership portfolio, further enhancing Limited Space’s market-leading network of premium digital sites delivering 100% Share of Voice (SOV) for brands.

Debuting as part of Universal’s wider Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) campaign for Disclosure Day, the installation showcases the power of integrated media execution, combining the flexibility, immediacy and dynamic capabilities of digital content and audio with the high-impact, always-on presence of a full-site artwork wrap. The result is a highly immersive brand experience that maximises visibility, engagement and campaign standout within a key retail destination.

Serving a retail catchment of more than 1.1 million people and welcoming approximately 13.6 million visitors annually, The Liberty Shopping Centre is the number one satellite centre in London (CACI 2024), ranking top in retail spend opportunity, amounting to £247 million among 13 satellite centres in the capital. Its prime position in Romford town centre, combined with excellent connectivity via the Elizabeth Line, places Central London within 35 minutes and attracts shoppers from across Havering, Barking & Dagenham, Redbridge, Brentwood, Thurrock and wider Essex.

Spanning more than 490,000 sq ft of retail, leisure, dining and office space, Liberty is anchored by a strong line-up of national retailers including Primark, Marks & Spencer, H&M, Boots, Next, JD Sports and Flannels, alongside over 100 stores and eateries. The centre continues to evolve through ongoing investment and an enhanced tenant mix, reinforcing its position as the dominant retail and lifestyle destination in the borough.

Beyond retail, Liberty offers a vibrant all-day experience, with cafés, restaurants and leisure attractions that drive extended dwell times and repeat visitation. More than half of Liberty's shoppers fall within the UK's top three Acorn consumer profiles, providing brands with access to an affluent, aspirational and highly engaged audience. Combined with strong family, commuter and young professional demographics, Liberty delivers a powerful platform for advertisers looking to connect with consumers at scale.

The addition of Liberty Shopping Centre brings the Orbit Ownership platform to seven destinations nationwide, creating a unique opportunity for brands to achieve meaningful national distribution through a portfolio of digital ownership. Covering major catchments across London, the South East, the Midlands and the North East, the network combines broad audience reach and digital flexibility with the benefits of 100% SOV, enabling brands to build sustained awareness and stronger connections with consumers across multiple regions through a single media solution.
