We recently teamed up with Posterscope and Generation Media to unleash Pokémon’s Mega Evolution Trading Card Game to UK audiences in a fully immersive OOH campaign that brought excitement - and evolution - directly to consumers.

With large-scale media, interactive gameplay, and clever creative touches, fans could dive into the Pokémon universe like never before.


Adlift Media Wall - Large-Scale Standout

At the heart of the campaign was our Adlift Media Wall - spanning lift doors and the enormous surrounding wall space – all fully branded with the campaign’s standout creative. The walls included lenticular installations, letting people see their Pokémon evolve as they moved from side to side - a perfect mix of magic and motion that truly brought the Pokémon universe to life. Fans weren’t just observers; they became part of the adventure. Each lift featured a different Pokémon, giving visitors the chance to choose their partner Pokémon by selecting which lift to step inside.

Inside the lifts, our Adlift Experience wraps transformed the space into a fully branded environment, immersing shoppers in the world of Pokémon as they traveled between floors. Floor expansion vinyls extended the adventure outside the lift doors too, creating a further attention-capturing opportunities that hit from every angle.

Orbit Interaction - Play, Tap, Evolve

The fun didn’t stop there. Using our Orbit Interaction platform on large-format landscape screens, visitors could play an interactive game that let them collect powers to help their Pokémon evolve to its next stage. This gamified element allowed fans to engage directly with the Mega Evolution storyline, showcasing each transformation in real-time while keeping the experience fun, hands-on, and totally addictive. Further content was then made available to participants who could choose, watch and learn about further Pokémon from the collection.


Summary

Shopping centres were the perfect playground for this campaign. They attract Pokémon’s core audience - families, teens, and young adults - while providing direct proximity to multiple purchase points on the spot for instant gratification and engagement. The combination of high footfall, creative OOH formats, and interactive experiences made malls an ideal environment to catch attention, spark excitement, and encourage interaction.

Our unique network of OOH products enabled us to meet Pokémon’s brief in a multitude of ways - delivering ownership of premium sites, standout visual impact, and deep engagement. Through our mix of large-scale static and digital formats, we provided both consistency of messaging and opportunities for live interaction. Our digital channels allowed for real-time engagement and content flexibility, while static creative formats like the lenticular media walls gave the illusion of motion and evolution – all whilst ensuring even traditional OOH elements felt dynamic and alive.
