Four new Banners added at Manchester Arndale
New Banner locations added to the largest inner-city shopping centre in the UK
We are delighted to recently launched an important set of additions to our national Banner portfolio, adding four new large-format Banner locations at Manchester Arndale.
Measuring 3m x 5m in size, each Banner fits in as standard with the rest of our network, providing scale, stature and elevation in key open atrium spaces across the centre. The additions place advertisers at the heart of one of the UK’s busiest and most influential retail environments, offering unrivalled exposure to a diverse and engaged urban audience.
Why Manchester Arndale?
Manchester Arndale is not only the largest inner-city shopping centre in the UK—it is also one of the top-ranked by size and footfall. The centre draws over 46 million visitors annually, with numbers continuing to rise.
Located in the heart of Manchester city centre, Arndale boasts over 230 retail units, including flagship stores from Apple, Next (Europe’s largest), and Zara, along with a wide mix of high-street favourites, independents, and designer labels. The centre is complemented by a vibrant food court and leisure offering, making it a key all-day destination for shoppers, commuters, tourists, and residents alike.
With a catchment area that includes 6.7 million people within a 45-minute drive, and over 88% of Manchester’s city visitors passing through at some point during their stay, the centre provides an exceptionally broad and valuable audience.
Why Banners?
Limited Space’s banner format has become a cornerstone of retail media planning thanks to its combination of visual dominance and flexibility. The banners are positioned in central concourse areas, ensuring maximum visibility and consistent brand messaging throughout a shopper’s journey.
Key features of the format include:
High-impact visuals: Large-scale display that commands attention from a distance
Strategic positioning: Installed at key high-traffic areas for optimal audience reach
Modular flexibility: Able to run in both portrait and landscape orientations, allowing for extensive creative flexibility
Double-sided – allowing for multiple creatives
Limited Space’s Banner network now covers across 12 of the UK’s most prestigious retail destinations, providing national reach and delivering over 30million All Adult impacts.
By adding Banners into Manchester Arndale, we have expanded our media offering within the centre. Combining with our Adlift, Panoramic and Orbit digital platforms, advertisers also now have the option to create standout dominance within the location.
This provides brands with an even greater opportunity to connect with consumers in a setting that drives both dwell time and purchase intent. The banners offer a prominent and consistent brand presence during the moments that matter most—just before the point of purchase.
The addition of Manchester Arndale to the banner network also reinforces the broader value of Limited Space’s national strategy. We are always looking to continually update, upgrade and expand our Ooh portfolios to offer advertisers even more ways to connect with audiences.
