Despicable Me 3

With excitement and nationwide exposure being required for the launch of Despicable Me 3, Limited Space's brand new Orbit network was ideal to base a mall advertising campaign around.

Recently installed at intu Lakeside, Limited Space’s new screen measures 7m X 4m in size, making it the largest available digital advertising screen in the UK.

 

The campaign is the first of its kind and features a 30-second animation specially created for the unique screen. The animation appears as the screen seamlessly transitions between a landscape and portrait orientation, with the film’s lead characters battling for airtime as the screen completes a 90 degree rotation, keeping all content to a centralised perspective.

 

Along with high definition display and audio, the screen is accompanied by two back-to-back suspended screens that, when combined, dominate the central atrium of the mall and rotate simultaneously.

 

The Despicable Me 3 campaign runs for two weeks, reaching a total of 19 million people, and appears on other iconic digital sites including Bluewater and the Bullring as well as Adlift (lift door advertising) sites, featuring multiple character designs in close proximity to cinemas across the UK. Completing the domination campaign was the installation of a giant inflatable Minion at Bluewater measuring an impressive 5m in height.
