Alvin and The Chipmunks – Road Chip

Looking to generate a buzz around the cinema release of the latest ‘Alvin and The Chipmunks’ movie, 20th Century Fox took the beloved characters on a ‘Road Chip’ across a network of UK shopping centres.


Limited Space were able to provide 20th Century Fox with several touch points that all worked to surround the mall audience with the campaign.


Hanging mall Banners were placed in strategic atrium spaces throughout each mall, drawing attention from all angles. Being a double-sided platform meant that four different creatives could be used in each mall, allowing for each of the Chipmunks gang to get their own equal share of the limelight.


The campaign also gave audiences direct access to engage with the characters through Limited Space’s Adlift network. Appealing to both lift users and the wider mall traffic, the prominent positions of Adlift helped to drive awareness of the film’s release, whilst the lift interiors introduced shoppers to the film’s main characters through a full 360° artwork wrap and soundboxes playing key trailer messaging.
